Hello Ladies, I know Valentine's Day is right around the corner and you are looking for that perfect dress. I decide to show you guys a simply but sexy look I put together for the perfect dinner date on Valentine's Day.
Does makeup define your beauty ? Do you wear makeup to hide behind your reality? Is makeup your way of coping with the scars people can't physically see ? For many years makeup has been my cover up it allowed me to deal with the inner scars I carried around with me. I would not go anywhere in public without wearing foundation even if I was running out to grab milk or bread. I wanted to cover up my pain of being overweight and the blemishes I had on my face. Over the years I've grown to love my natural self completely and if there's something that I didn't like about myself it's totally up to me to make a change. Whether it's eating clean and working out to shed some pounds or taking better care of my skin its up to me to fix the things that I can control. It feels great to be able to go out with a fresh face with no care in the world and not feel like I'm obligated to wear foundation because I'm out in public. I must say I feel "FREE" and loving the real you is very important because no one is going to be glam 24/7.
Sometimes its bothering to see so many people bash woman for wearing makeup . No one knows the real reason why people do what they do. The person can have skin cancer or what have you but at the end of day its totally their business. Let people rock out with their "Cake Face" and let them express themselves through makeup. I love to see different makeup looks on social media such as Instagram. I can browse the beauty tags for hours and be inspired by many different Makeup Artist. YouTube is another source to find great makeup looks. YouTube has definitely been my guide to learning different makeup techniques but for me I love a bold lip and a natural matte eye with heavy liner from time to time.

No one is perfect in fact there are few unwanted pounds on my body that I would like to cut off. However living everyday ashamed or embarrassed about yourself is just not OK. Accept your truth and own your flaws. When you are confident about yourself there is nothing I mean nothing anyone can tell you. As a woman we all deal with a lot making sure that we are on top of our game. Are you doing great as a Parent? Are you a good Wife? Are you taking the necessary steps to build your Career? Are you working off that cheeseburger you had no business eating this week? While we are so busy taking care of things around us we tend to neglect ourselves. We begin to feel bad about ourselves and not give ourselves the credit that we are due. I've been working extremely hard and some how I seem to have lost my mojo. I mean I work 6 days out of the week and most of the time I barely comb my hair. *Girl* I just had enough and I had to snap myself backed into reality. Even though I work I still need to make time to pamper myself . It's nothing wrong with giving dressed up every now and then showing up and showing out . So here's to enough being enough ..dust that shame off ...get dress and "OWN YOUR REALITY". Most of all dress like you are going to see your Worse Enemy.
I made this beautiful dress back in October of 2014 and I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out given that I didn't use a pattern. I pretty much freestyle this design based on a dress design by the talented Michael Costello. He designed a beautiful wrap dress for Kim Kardashion and I loved that the dress was sexy without exposing a lot of skin. The high split is the focus point of the dress it shows off my sexy legs and it also showcase off my shoes. I love that the dress is loose fitted as well as draped it the front those details hide my muffin top and gives me room to move around without feeling uncomfortable . I think wrap dresses are suitable for women of all shapes and sizes . You can altar the design to your liking and what makes you more comfortable . For me I opted to do loose short kimono sleeves instead of long sleeves for this dress .
Are you loving wrap dresses for spring and summer . If so please tag me in your photos on instagram.
